Roof Frame

Ridge bracing is needed here where the ridge ends. On the other end you can see the  ridge goes all the way to the gable end wall and is braced by the 2x4 wall under it. Bracing must be off of a wall or a beam. The bracing of the ridge and roof should not be off of the ceiling frame.
